Classical visit of Lucerne

Lucerne is the pearl at the foothill of the Alps. It's full of amazing attractions like chapel bridge, the oldest wooden bridge in Europe and towers and buildings from the Middle Ages.

The highlight of the tour is a visit at the lion monument. Marc Twain said it’s the most moving piece of rock in the world.

Description of the tour:

The picturesque old town of Lucerne is imbedded in a small valley surrounded by close-by mountains and lake Lucerne. Join us to visit the old town center of Lucerne. The tour starts at the railway station or at your hotel. We will walk across the famous chapel bridge, which is the longest wooden covered bridge of Switzerland. Then we visit some old town squares beautifully decorated with fresco paintings of the past. We will step inside Jesuit church, a baroque style national monument and admire the stucco work on its walls and ceiling. You will learn about the history of the town and its present situation. You will find out about the city's most attractive shopping area which lies in a traffic free zone. And last but not least the tour takes you to the lion monument. This huge war memorial is chiseled in a natural rock surrounded by a park. We will also answer your questions regarding your stay in Lucerne, provide additional suggestions for tours and give information about museums and art galleries.

A fascinating experience for all those with a passion for history.
