Lucerne today is the world capital of selling watches. Where are the Swiss watches produced? Who are the people who buy them? And why is Switzerland a leading watch manufacturing place?

We will walk the “walk of watches” and visit a billion dollar shop to learn more about the stunning facts of selling watches on Swan square.

Then the tour will take you through Lucerne’s old town up to Musegg wall where you will visit the oldest clock in town of 1385 with a special right to chime one minute before the other clocks. Inside the tower you can explore a private collection of fabulous old mechanical clocks. Towards the end of the guided city walk we will meet Cronos, the god of time on the old miller’s bridge. Listen to his scary stories about life and death and get to know the skeletons and zombies of Lucerne’s past.
